She is a growing girl and eating all the time!!!

Chloe loves to take rides in her little wagon in the house and her big wagon around the neighborhood. She is constantly telling me "more".

Chloe is so into books. She will sit and look through books for minutes!!! She likes to dump her books out of the basket and then look through them on the floor...then Mommy has to pick them up (books are hard to put away)!

Yesterday, on Chloe's 13 month birthday, Chloe took a few steps on her own. We were all there to see the steps!!! Chloe is still uneasy doing it by herself, but she is getting closer. We are predicting that she will be more confident by her 14th month!!!

We had a great week visiting with the Russell cousins. Chloe had so much fun playing with Aiden and Ashton and the boys just adored Chloe. Aiden and Ashton loved watching and helping with all of Chloe's diaper changes. :-) They also decided that Chloe is no longer "Baby Chloe" because she can walk around. Now she is just "Chloe." It was a lot of fun and I know Chloe can't wait to play with the boys again!!

Chloe had a great birthday party!! It was so much fun to dress up and celebrate Chloe's first year.  The day was super hot, but that made it nice to be outside playing with bubbles and eating lunch. :-)  

Chloe had a fun day playing with friends and being with family.  However, Chloe did not like her cake!!! She cried and tried to get away from the frosted cake.  Chloe would not even allow us to put a piece of cake or lick of frosting in her mouth...and this is a girl who eats everything!!! Yes, she does not have her mommy's sweet tooth yet.  Hopefully by next year she will learn to at least dig her hands into the cake for the fun of it!!!! :-)

Chloe is ONE today!!! 

Our little birthday girl turned one at 10:41 am on October 15th!!! 

Wow, what an amazing year we have had!  It has been incredible to watch our precious Chloe grow from a newborn infant to an increasingly independent toddler!!  No, she is not walking yet, but she can sure can move.  

Our hearts are full of joy as we celebrate this big day with Chloe and remember the past year that has gone by in a flash.  Every experience has been more fulfilling as we share our life with Chloe.  Chloe means the world to us and it is wonderful to share the world with her!!

These were a few of our September adventures.  I know they are late to come, but life gets so crazy busy sometimes.  Chloe and I are now going to a Mommy and Me class (a four hour class) on Tuesdays, Stroller Strides (2 to 4 days), Gymboree (a couple times a week), and Chloe continues therapy an hour and a half a week.  Between all that we do not get much free time to update the blog.  :(  However, we are having so much with all our activities. :-)  

Plus, next week is Chlo-bear's birthday!!! She will be turning one!  We are so excited to have our little girl's first birthday.  

Chloe is getting so BIG!

Chloe is going to be 11 months old next week!  She is learning things so quickly. :-)  The past week she has started pointing, signing "more" for everything, and waving to everyone (she makes more friends at the stores!!).  Chloe is crawling so well (even up the stairs) and pulling herself to standing!!  

Chloe has two favorite things in our house... teddy bears and dogs!!!  Chloe loves her teddy bears...she will crawl around with them and sleep with them.  The one word she says consistenly is bear "der".  The dogs are also Chloe's friends.  She loves to pat the dogs, follow the dogs and she even knows the sign for "dog"!!  

It is amazing to watch all the new things that Chloe does...we are so proud to be her parents.
